AWARD WILL BE PRESENTED DURING ALUMNI DAY REUNION – OCTOBER 20, 2012

What is the St. Joseph’s School Henry Schimpf Award? 

This is a new award in honor of the late Henry Schimpf to recognize selfless service contributions, commitment and dedication within the St. Joseph’s School of the Sacred Heart (SJSH) community.

Henry touched and improved the lives of thousands of Bay Area residents during his many years of service to the Sacred Heart and St. Joseph’s campus.  He is remembered as someone who embodied the very kind of patient, humble, and selfless teaching methods we should all aspire to practice in our daily lives.

Who is eligible for this award? 

SJS alumni and coaches, administrators, faculty, staff, and RSCJ who worked at St. Joseph’s School for a minimum of ten years.

Where and When is the SJSH Henry Schimpf Awarded Presented? 

The award will be presented on Saturday, October 20, 2012 on the Sacred Heart Schools, Atherton (SHS) campus during the annual Alumni Day reunion.

  1. There could not be an honor more glorious than to be given an award named after Henry. He walked with St. Joseph! Henry, Kip Morey, Mother McCarthy, Mother Enos and so many of you made those years the happiest for me and my family!
